The Science Fair is the largest popular science event in the Czech Republic, organized by the Czech Academy of Sciences since 2015. It presents science in all its forms and offers visitors the most interesting from the world of natural sciences, engineering, humanities, and social sciences.
This year the Science Fair took place on June 6-8 and attracted more than 30,000 visitors.
Scientists and students from IOCB Prague presented the development of new drugs on examples of current cancer research in the laboratory of Pavel Majer or neurosteroids for neuropathic pain and epilepsy in Eva Kudová's lab. In addition, we had a chemical laboratory for children in place and showed a brand new chemical game in virtual reality.
