Laboratory technician
Job description
The Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry is looking for a new colleague to join the IOCB Compound Library as a Laboratory technician.

Responsibilities:
- Operation of an automated peptide synthesizer
- Preparation of samples for analyses and other experiments
- Purity and identity analysis of compounds
- Keeping laboratory records and preparing samples
- Working with laboratory equipment (e.g., peptide synthesizer, liquid chromatograph, balances)
- Collaboration with research teams
The position is suitable for graduates or parents returning from parental leave.
Requirements
- Completed secondary education with a school-leaving exam, ideally in a chemistry-related field
- A university degree in chemistry or a related field is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures
- Independence, responsibility, and reliability, with a meticulous approach
- Previous laboratory experience is an advantage
- Ability to work in a team
