IOCB Prague opens applications for PhD positions for 2026 and welcomes talented, independent, and highly motivated students interested in pursuing a PhD in cutting-edge areas of the life and chemical sciences. Applicants should hold an MSc degree or equivalent in the life sciences or related fields.
We offer a broad portfolio of PhD projects in organic and medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, and analytical and physical chemistry, reflecting the interdisciplinary research environment at IOCB Prague.
Prospective students can choose from projects focused, for example, on novel nucleic acid chemistries and XNA-based therapeutics, molecular machines and photochemical processes, quantum and optical bionanosensors, RNA biology and gene expression regulation, chiral catalysis and nanocarbons, or advanced spectroscopic and computational methods.
