IOCB Prague invites applications for a tenure-track Junior Group Leader position in computational chemistry with an emphasis on state-of-the-art tools of biomolecular modeling (including AI/machine learning) applied to research with close ties to biochemical/biophysical experiments.
This tenure-track position is roughly comparable to an assistant professor position at a US university or to a new investigator position at Max Planck Institutes in Germany. We offer the opportunity to establish a research group with a generous and negotiable starting package that includes investments in the necessary equipment, consumables, and salaries (including several coworkers/students).
The application deadline is 30 June 2026. Suitable candidates will be contacted to arrange an interview to be held in person at IOCB in the period of 9 – 11 September 2026. The anticipated (but negotiable) start date is January 2027.
