Abstract

Organic azides play a crucial role in chemistry and biochemistry due to their unique reactivity and versatility. Organic fluorinated azides are derivatives of azidoalkanes developed by us recently.1-3 In this project we will study their transformation to N-trifluoromethylated amides and properties and derivatization of those amides, in order to discover new reactivity and prepare new building blocks for life science.

PhD students must be enrolled in a partner university and will be employed by the IOCB Prague at the same time (part-time or full time), which results in a competitive salary (a scholarship from the university + a salary from the IOCB).
