RNA4T: RNA for therapy

Brief description: The project aims to develop a Czech-driven research and innovation ecosystem in the field of RNA medicine and expand therapeutic potential of RNA, which emerged in recent years as a remarkable therapeutic tool for personalized medicine and immunotherapy, as well as to address genetic, infectious, and chronic diseases linked to RNA metabolism. The project combines cutting-edge research on key molecular mechanisms in RNA biology and the translation of the knowledge into practical applications.

ELIXIR CZ: Capacity extension

AMULET: Advanced MUltiscaLe materials for key Enabling Technologies

Brief description: The AMULET project focuses on advanced engineering of multiscale materials from sub-nanometer design to integration into functional architectures for use in numerous applications in electrical, medical and environmental technologies, including socio-economic impact assessment. These are Key Enabling Technologies (KETs), which are essential for EU competitiveness. Interdisciplinary excellent research will be carried out by a team composed of top-level scientists and will benefit from extensive international synergies.

NETPHARM: New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences /NETPHARM

Brief description: The project synergistically links major basic and translational research institutions and multidisciplinary teams using modern pharmaceutical science approaches with strong application potential. The aim of the project is excellent research and development of advanced therapeutics, (nano)formulations, and drug delivery systems, using innovative technologies, the latest approaches, and experimental models of translational drug development within the network of excellent R&D centers.

IOCB MSCA PF Mobility

Registration number: CZ.02.01.01/00/22_010/0002733

Brief description: The project is focused on the implementation of a research proposal in the field of biochemistry of plant specialized metabolites, that achieved a high score within the Horizon-MSCA-2021-PF call but could not be funded. The 2-year research is carried out by a foreign researcher at IOCB under the guidance of a leading scientist of the institute. The purpose of the project is to fulfil research goals primarily, but also the support of foreign cooperation, the transfer of experience and knowledge and the development of the career of a young researcher with a connection to the Czech scientific environment.
