Glowing DNA

Glowing DNA

It is known that DNA and RNA molecules not only encode information but can also have more complicated functions. Edward Curtis and his group are interested in such functions, specifically in the possibility to make DNA or RNA molecules that generate a signal.

The researchers are particularly interested in DNA molecules which are intrinsically fluorescent.
