RNA Club 2026 was hosted by IOCB Prague on 16 September – the meeting once again brought together members of the Czech RNA biology community and featured distinguished international speakers, including Jeppe Vinther from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and Marcinus Nowotny from the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw, Poland. The event provided an excellent opportunity for scientific exchange, discussion of recent advances in RNA research, and networking among researchers from different institutions.

RNA Club 2025 was held on 31 October 2025 at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. As in previous years, the event brought together the Czech RNA biology community and featured outstanding invited speakers, including Claudia Kutter (Karolinska Institute, Sweden) and Marcus Wahl (Freie Universität Berlin, Germany).

Ahead of the conference, the annual ISAB project meeting provided team members with valuable feedback on their research progress and guidance for future activities.

The 19th edition of the international Symposium on Chemistry of Nucleic Acid Components (SCNAC), dedicated to the chemistry of nucleic acids, took place in Český Krumlov. The scientific program covered a wide range of cutting-edge topics, including prebiotic synthesis of nucleic acids and peptides, RNA and oligonucleotide therapeutics, nucleoside- and nucleotide-based drugs, functionalized nucleic acids, aptamers, DNA and RNA enzymes, RNA modifications, G-quadruplexes and other non-canonical structures, as well as nucleic acid nanomaterials. On 19–20 September 2024, the RNA Club 2024 conference and the kick-off meeting for the RNA4T: RNA for Therapy project took place at CEITEC Brno.

The RNA Club 2024 conference focused on RNA biology topics and offered an opportunity to connect with leading experts from the Czech Republic and abroad. The keynote speakers were Igor Ulitsky from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel and Michael Frye from the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg.

Alongside the conference, the kick-off meeting for the RNA4T project was held on 20 September, with members of the project's scientific board and a representative from the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports, Jakub Uchytil. The meeting featured presentations from the involved laboratories, showcasing their research topics, as well as the initial results and achievements of the project. The scientific board then provided the consortium members with feedback and recommendations for the upcoming project period.
