ÄKTA pure (General Electric Healthcare Systems, USA) is modern, compact, flexible and intuitive FPLC (Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography) system for fast purification of proteins, peptides, and nucleic acids from microgram to gram levels of desired compound. Can be used for affinity chromatography, size exclusion chromatography (SEC, also known as gel filtration), ion exchange chromatography, hydrophobic interaction chromatography, and reversed phase chromatography (RPC).
